Godwin Anayochukwu Anakor, CSB
The first of six children of my parents who were originally of African traditional religion before converting to Christianity long after my birth.  I grew up a Roman Catholic having been baptized into it by my parents.

Dissatisfied and uninspired by what I was learning about God, I began a long search for the true God.  I went through so many Christian denominations within a period of fourteen years before embracing Christian Science in 1978.

In 1977, I was a lay preacher with the Scripture Union of Nigeria.  After preaching in the premises of a Christian Scientist, he offered me a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy which I read and became interested in.  I attended a Christian Science lecture in my city in early 1978.  The insight gained about the true nature of God, man and creation was overwhelming.  This resulted in my dramatic healing of a case of complications arising from ruptured appendix without drugs.  Since then, Christian Science has remained to me the "pearl of great price."

After college, I worked briefly with the East Central State of Nigeria Marketing Board as an accounting officer before establishing my own private firm that engaged in the importation and distribution of auto spare parts from Germany.

I listed as a Christian public practitioner in 2006.  In 2007, I became a member of the Christian Board of Lectureship.  In 2009, I became a member of the Christian Science Board of Education.
